Tips to Follow When Your Online Marketing Campaign Fails

No matter how you try to make your online marketing campaign successful, it does not usually head to the direction you wanted it to be. However, this does not mean you have to give up. Making your online presence felt is definitely not an easy task. Take note that there are hundreds or even thousands of other businesses that also do marketing campaigns online. Some of them might even be your direct competitors. All of these businesses struggle to end up with a successful campaign. Therefore, if you don’t necessarily see signs of success as of the moment, it doesn’t mean you are a failure.

Rethinking Your Strategies

If you feel like your campaign does not bear any fruit as of the moment, you might have to take a few steps back and rethink the entire process. There might be something wrong in your previous strategies. There could be something else that you can do in order to yield more positive results. For instance, you are writing blogs to promote your website. Perhaps, the topics that you are writing are not good enough or are not necessarily interesting for the readers. It is also possible that they have read the post somewhere before. Therefore, you need to come up with a more creative idea.

When you have launched a video blog campaign, you have to make sure that it is interesting. People should not just find it entertaining but informative as well. Don’t make it an obvious commercial for your business. It should be something that they can learn something from. Otherwise, they will just close the video and move on.

Seeking for Help

At this point, if you have tried everything by yourself and you still don’t see anything great, you might want to start looking for help. Take note that there are a lot of companies out there that are willing to provide SEO services and other online marketing services. They know exactly what to do and they have proven track records in online marketing. All you have to do is to compare the choices and find out which one will most likely provide you with the services that will boost your company. There are companies that offer packages for you to minimize your expenses.

Better Interaction

Your biggest problem why you don’t succeed is because you don’t really pay attention to people by interacting with them. You might have already faced lots of potential clients. It’s just that you did not really respond to their inquiries or you shrug them off. Take note that by simply thanking them for liking a post in Facebook for instance, it already means something to them. If they ask a question and you give more information than what they have asked for, then they will believe your company more. Take time to do these little details or hire someone to manage your potential clients. This will really have a huge impact on your endeavors.

In short, you just need to do better and find out more ways on how you can make your campaign more successful.

Establishing Strong Online Presence and Beating Business Competitors

It might seem easy to advertise online and promote your business. There are a lot of strategies that can be done to ensure that your online presence will be felt by target clients. However, the moment you see all other businesses that may be your direct competitor, then they will surely discourage you. Before you completely shut down your online marketing campaign, you have to understand that many other businesses out there also started from scratch. Therefore, if you will continue doing better in your online marketing campaign, it will be easier for you to be on the same level with them. This article will provide you with some tips on how you can establish a strong online presence for your business and potentially beat other competitors.

1. Vary your strategies. Don’t just rely on one strategy to work. For instance, you might say that social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook are effective. However, they are not the only sites visited by people. Try to write articles and post them via article directories. Create your own blog and maintain huge followers. Post comments and testimonials in other sites. In doing this, it will be easier for you to be seen by different people.

2. Don’t wait for a big break. Just because you have learned that a particular strategy worked for other business owners does not mean it will also work for you. Don’t wait for that miracle to happen before moving forward. While waiting, you can also try some other things out. Be careful in buying services for online marketing as well. Sometimes, they exaggerate their ads to get your attention when in fact, they are not that effective. If they promise you that they will deliver something, make sure that they will stay true to their words.

3. Be interactive. Make sure that you speak with your clients and potential clients. Let them feel that you are interested in them. Let them know that you are not doing this ad because you want something from them. They should also feel that they can get something from you. Send newsletters or infographics. Lead them to other sites that have promotions. Write customized letters. This will make sure that they remain loyal to you. Doing this makes them feel like they are a part of your business’ family.

4. Never lose faith. Online marketing really takes time before you can see concrete results. Some business owners have tried and tried for several years, but they still don’t see anything huge. It is just normal. Thus, you need to be patient. You need to try out anything new that could potentially help your campaign. Don’t get easily discouraged. Just have faith that someday, all your efforts will be paid off.

When you follow these tips and you stay committed to your goals, success won’t be too far out. You should also be inspired by many other companies that have reached their goals because of their persistence and commitment.

Creating a Web Presence

Every company and a lot of individuals want to have their own website. If that was not possible, these companies and persons would be happy with a large web presence which would be unique. In a world where it is easy to setup a website, it is ironic that creating a web presence has become a problem.

First off, there are many forms of web presence. It may be a web presence which centers around a website, or a blog. Or it can be a web presence which is based on social media. In addition, there are some who have a large footprint of web presence, but only in terms a specific website, like YouTube, or Twitter, or Vines.

Creating a web presence takes a lot of resources. It is time consuming, energy zapping, requires manpower and clout, as well as a lot of goodwill. For a celebrity or a well-known brand, a web presence is almost assured. However, there is still the day-to-day business or running a website. Brand recognition and credibility is not easily accomplished. After saying that, the best way to create a recognizable online presence would be if there was an already existing real world presence, like Coca-Cola, or Neil Gaiman. Otherwise, anyone who wants to create a large web presence has to rely on other people to spread the word.

Another way to spread the word, is to be continuously posting. This does not mean that the posts have to come from an open flood gate. On the contrary, it should be a focused stream of posts. It should cater to a specific niche or crowd.

The process of creating a viable and reputable web presence is like signing on for a lease office space. As long as you are working on the office space, and paying for it, then the presence is there. In the same manner, a web presence exists only due to the continuous effort of creating a presence. The moment that posts stop, the web presence also stops, or takes a nosedive. In search engine terms or SEO, it would result in a drop in searches.

Ultimately, what matters is not the presence, but the efforts to create on, which in turn define what the web presence is.

Tips on Using On-Page Optimization to Make Your Website Work

Is your business not doing very well? Are you not getting the level of sales you thought your product would bring in?  The chances are your problem lies with your website. This is the first thing that your visitors see and is the most important part about your business.

It isn’t just the customers though. If your website is not optimized properly, you won’t have what they call web presence. The search engines won’t rank you very high and everyone in the business knows just how important that is.  So, to start you off on the right foot, I have some tips to help you optimize your website to improve your presence:

On-Page Optimization

It’s all about SEO – Search Engine Optimization. If you don’t have it, you won’t get anywhere and if you can’t do it, find someone who can to help you.

Website Copywriting

This is the absolute most basic point to empowering your website. Content must be quality, optimized with the right keywords and relevant. Keep your content focuse on just a couple of closely related keywords as overdoing it will just result in your website being penalized.

Use the following tips to learn how to produce SEO content:

  • Your primary keyword must be in your title and the meta description on each separate page
  • Your keyword/s must be in the first header
  • Your primary keyword/s should appear in the first paragraph
  • Scatter the rest of your keywords through the HI, H2 and H3’s
  • Use tags to point to your keywords
  • Each page must be at least 2-300 words, balanced out with the keyword inclusion
  • Write unique and creative copy that is relevant to your website.

Internal Linking Tips

Now that your webpages are in some kind of order, the content is written and properly optimized with keywords it’s time to link relevant pages together.  If you have pages on your website that are closely related, link them – this helps enormously in optimizing your site.  This also makes it easier for users to find their way around your website.

Use your keywords in your anchor text (link text)when you build your internal links. For example, let’s say you have a page about dieting tips and a page about weight loss – these two pages can be interlinked using target keywords in the anchor text.

Build a Sitemap

The sitemap on your website is the next most important page after the homepage.  The sitemap is basically an index of your website, similar to an index in a book.  It contains the links that take people to the other parts of your website. Use the following tips to help you organize your sitemap:

  • Place your links into an organized order using relevant categories. Use headers to give each category a label
  • Write some copy for your sitemap telling people what your site, and ultimately you, are all about.
  • Put in contact info – address, phone number, email, etc. of your business
  • Keep your sitemap up to date. If you add new pages to your website, add them to the sitemap

That should be enough to get you started on bringing your website into the spotlight. Next week, we’ll talk about off-page optimization.
